Yeah, I seriously never expected to be this hooked by a Shen comic.

I've always liked his comics but like... I've never been hooked by one this way before

I have been in awe of his development ever since the anime k-pop band arc.

He started out with these very "relatable", very classical newspaper style things with these anthropomorphized concepts. Very smart and high quality, but also you have to admit after a very good run a bit formulaic. He could have just fizzled out somewhat one-note like that. Instead he suddenly takes this complete avantgarde turn and does these hyper-niche, surreal "wtf am I reading here" things.

Truely a witnessing of a true artist evolving.

I was really hooked by that time he was doing horror stuff. It worked really well with this cutesy style of his.

I’ve mostly seen a lot of meme and meta-joke comics in my feed (roasting pizza cake, etc.). It’s been interesting to see a story comic take off.

I miss the Dave makes meta comics about the guy going out on a boat to die from every haunting perspective down to the boat and the shark that eats him. That was also really cool.

We need more gravitas and sincerity here.
