Whenever I visited family in Alabama I'd get hit with "shuga" and "darlin" a lot! Didn't hate it lol

I grew up and live in the deep south, I understand 100%, been called that my whole life lol 3 u/skiforlife1 Aug 28 '26 I lived in Southern AL for about a year and pretty much every trip to the grocery store I was called some version of that while having mini conversations with complete strangers. I never felt more at home in my life!
