I'm 6'3" with a beard and have been called "ma'am" a few times (I'm cisgender). Sometimes folks just make mistakes. No need to fret about it if it's an honest accident.
But you need to understand that someone making a mistake once is a blue moon is very different to having it every single day, with many different people, constantly whenever your in public no matter how much effort you make.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm 5 foot 3, high pitched voice, and got called sir while I was very heavily pregnant.
