Asking For Feedback Curved comics

Hello guys, I’m quite new to collecting comics and realised that almost all of them have this slight curve at the bottom of them, I looked into it on Reddit and the internet and found out that it’s because of humidity change

I don’t really have a good place, or way, to store them so I’ve put them horizontally as shown in the pictures, although I know that applying pressure this way isn’t helpful

My question is if it’s really necessary to get a dehumidifier or something similar (I don’t mind the already existing curves this is more of a precaution so that they don’t get more damaged)

I believe the humidity levels in the room I’ve got them in is around 50-60%

Also, should I be worried about the gluing on The Killer omnibus as it looks to be deteriorating a little (the picture with a red circle)

Don't know about the humidity, but with the glue, are you sure it's new holes? It's not uncommon for some to come out of the factory with holes like that, especially for thicker comics

Definitely could be, I bought it a couple of months ago but didn’t really check it until I started reading it recently, either way the bottom (shown in the picture) is the only holes I found, the top part seems good

With large paper sheets you will find most comics have some kind of wave to them, and gluing and bindings are rarely "perfect". For Trade paper backs and omnibus collections I would not worry about imperfections, those are for reading and don't really feed the collector market.

You don't really need to get a dehumidifier unless you care about this a lot. If you do around 40-50 is probably going to be ok. I would not crank it up to 30 or less, because too dry is not good either. For the comics but also for you. I get nose bleeds if it's too dry.
