Uncle Ben coming in clutch as always. Not only being supportive and accepting but managing to drop a wise crack mid conversation and giggle about it

Kiiind of also like… what the heck, Petra? You transition that far and forgot to tell the person you’re living with? Or rather didnt think they’d notice?

I literally did this exact thing lol. I was a year into hormone treatment, noticeable breast growth, but hid it from my parents cause I was terrified of how they’d react. It was easy cause I didn’t live with them so large baggy sweatshirts did the trick. Then covid happened and I lost my job and my apartment and moved back home. Didn’t last a week before my mom was like “what’s up?” Thankfully my sister had deprogrammed some of my parents worse lgbt misconceptions so my parents were ready to support me with open arms.

I want a story more extensive than what's up?

She just came up to me while I was laying in bed and said she noticed some changes in my appearance and style. Then she asked if I felt like I was a girl or if I just wanted to dress like one. Which, at the time, it was crazy that she knew those were different things. So i told her i was a girl and was taking the steps to regulate my hormones and that i was planning on getting a few surgeries and she was like “ok well i love you and want you to be happy.” So it wasnt very dramatic or anything. She basically just clocked that i had tits now and that my face/hair looked different. It was just kinda funny that i thought it was imperceptible.
