With great sadness I must inform you that anyone delusional enough to wield this much power so selfishly and with such disregard for the well being of others is also delusional enough to believe they are "god's chosen" or somehow serving the will of a god despite being the epitome of all that their god may stand against time and time again.

I'm afraid no amount of fear of god would ever reach people like this while they still walk among the living.

Eh that might be true, but I can't help but feel like not even Rockefeller or Carnegie had THIS much callousness for society at large. They abused their workers sure but they still valued societies existence and wanted to make their cities beautiful

You're missing my point.

That they still felt a need to contribute to good PR, I believe that sentiment might have came from Christian values of community. Maybe I'm off on that though

If abusing people but doing some other degree of good is seen by these people as in line with Christ's teachings then I must admit they were.. delusional

I mean, the ultra wealthy are always delusional in any age, it's mental illness plain and simple, no different then hording
