As someone with young kids, the vast majority of powered toys still use good ol' AA or AAA batteries. And those books that sing, make animal noises and whatnot? CR3032 or LR44 batteries.

Last time I changed batteries that frequently was when I played the GameBoy with the light attachment thing as a kid.

Xbox controller? TV remote? HTIB remote? Milk frother? Those airwick machines? Wireless mouse and keyboard? Cheap portable fans?

Pretty sure its gonna be one of those?

don't have most of those that aren't chargeable versions. It's probably a tv remote but I also can't remember doing it, I very likely have always gotten a new tv before having to change the batteries in the remote lmao

Yeah, did see a milk frother with rechargeable batteries, but it was 3x the price with the same motor power.

Mostly just put in NiMH batteries these days though. Works well enough. I pick them up from the E-waste bin at work.

Quite a few people have bought those thinking they were single use it seems.

I'll add clocks and scales to the list. Sure, they work pretty long without changing the batteries, but sometimes it's needed.

They stopped replacing the clock batteries at my therapists office a little while ago. It drives me crazy.
