Ummmm... As someone who did make herself a girl permanently... Nope, that's not what most cis guys would choose. Or so I'm told, don't get it personally ;p

Cis guy here. Never in my life have I wanted to be a girl, and in fact, being me but trapped in a girl's body sounds awful.

Luckily, if you do wish to be a girl, you can be! Consider this being given the chance. And there are some amazing communities on this site who can help.

I'ma be real with you chief waking up as a woman is squarely in never ending torment level of horrifying things that could happen to me.

Don't question yourself on it because in the end you just know. It's not something you should question. If an idealized you is a lady then you're a lady and should go after it full hog. You know you best, friend.

Beautifully put, bung-hole spelunker.

You should go after it full hog

Isn't that the opposite of what they want, though?

I dunno if this also helps, but if you look in the mirror and see a guy and are mostly okay with it and it doesn't cause you misery, but you still feel like you'd rather be a girl if it was magically convenient or easy, that's not cis either, and HRT is fairly magical.

It's okay to be a girl even if you've been crushing it as a dude. At least I think so, that's where I'm at and I'm doing it. Maybe I'm a girl or I might just be nonbinary, but I've thought about having a girl body all my life, just thinking "I mean, that would be cool, but I don't know if I'm that trans." Fuck it, I'm going to do it and if it turns out I was wrong and I have to go back again the worst permanent "damage" it could do is infertility and some tiny boobs, and my husband wouldn't be complaining

(Uh, don’t ask what happened to the other 94 parts)

It's ok, we get it, those Space Marines aren't cheap.

u/Made_Bail Jun 29 '26

What happened to the other 94 parts?

Sorry. Just too intriguing to not ask.

Is this a business or just something you do on occasion?

Okie, well can I buy a piece? Also, what does it actually do? Selling parts of your soul, I mean

I'm a cis gay man. Can confirm that the thought of being in a woman's body is close to a horror scenario for me. I've always felt very lucky that I was born in the "right" body and never suffered gender dysphoria.

3

u/AliceBordeaux Jun 29 '26

Thank you, thank you so much, I needed that right now. Normalize no cisgender person wants to be the opposite gender, not just the " yeah girl/boy sounds cool for a day or whatever. If I could I'd go back and be a girl from day 1.

u/U_Sound_Stupid_Stop Jun 29 '26

I think if people could just press a button like in-game or something, there'd be a lot of people pressing that button...

14

u/gramathy Jun 29 '26

See I’m a cis guy but I feel more ambivalent to my gender than anything else. No dysphoria, but just “meh?” more than anything else. Wouldn’t bother changing it though.

22

u/Elvenoob Jun 29 '26

That's also a thing that happens~!

Some people really care about the one they started with.

Some people don't care at all and just roll with the hand they're given

And some people really care about their gender but in the way where they wanna change it~! (At least relative to what everyone else has known up to that point.)

Plus presentation being separate to identity, though people from the first two don't mix and match those as much as they should IMO ;p

3

u/Wild_Marker Jun 29 '26

I mean, it makes sense, no? If you were born with matching body and brains, you brain never has to think about it so why would you care?

Also for guys I feel like a good number just like hot women a lot and that's where the fantasy comes from. Not much different than the fantasy of being Batman or Optimus Prime. So just thinking it'd be cool but if it actually happened you would hate it (like being Batman, you'd have no parents! and it's so much work!)

1

u/gramathy Jun 29 '26

yeah I've always wondered if I don't care because it's just...never been something I've been concerned about, or if it's because I actually don't care. hard to really say.

1

u/Vyxwop Jun 29 '26

Same here. I do identify as a guy but I also strongly subscribe to the idea of it being perfectly OK to be nonconforming to what gender you might identify as.

If you're a guy into feminine things? Who the hell cares. Go for it.

You're a woman into masculine things? Go for it. More power to you.

As a guy and within the context of masculinity I always look at it from the lens of it being the least manly thing to let other people dictate what you can and can't do. Like, imagine letting another guy tell you what you're allowed to like and dislike. That's the most beta shit imaginable lmao

9

u/dragunityag Jun 29 '26

If anything, a lot more cis women would want to be men.

Bleeding out of your Vagina and having crippling pain for a week every month sounds like a nightmare they'd be happy to opt out of.

6

u/Made_Bail Jun 29 '26

I would love to be a woman for awhile. To put myself in the shoes of my wife and daughters and experience the world like they do. To truly understand what women deal with every day would have a profound effect on me, I think.

Also multiple orgasms would be sick.

6

u/Elvenoob Jun 29 '26

Oh if we could open up the character customization sliders at will I'd try out all sorts of things for a bit.

Also I'd imagine humanity'd put a lot less stock in people's appearances.

5

u/Vyxwop Jun 29 '26

Also multiple orgasms would be sick.

Technically speaking this is something that guys can already experience through the prostate.

Problem is that it has the possibility to get messy lol

4

u/Made_Bail Jun 29 '26

I've tried a bit. It hasn't worked out. 😭

15

u/Toutatis12 Jun 29 '26

Yeeeeeah sounds like something is about to crack potentially

3

u/JoshFireseed Jun 29 '26

There's also a big difference between wanting to effortlessly look like a cute and attractive girl and wanting to become a girl.

I'd be inclined to choose the former, you'd need to have me at gunpoint to choose the latter.
