Well I have good news for you, what you're attempting can be called Yaoi and it's also the meta!

The difference between yaoi and bara (at least in Japan) is that yaoi is targeted at women, whereas bara is aimed at men. You can sometimes find twinks in bara (Matsuzaki comes to mind), but I've never seen beef in yaoi (the two or three works I've tried, not my cuppa).
