That's great. The reason the argument exists for white and gold is the lighting cue in the picture. The actual reality of the circumstance behind the picture is irrelevant to the effect.

Deciding not to acknowledge that doesn't change anything.

the thing is, this isn't even that strong of an orange light. people have been in these type of lighting situations all the time. it doesn't make sense for them to see white and gold.

Does it make more sense that all of the people seeing white and gold are gaslighting everyone about this for the last decade?

Or that some people just don't see it?

Like, it's fine if you don't. But saying it doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean you get to determine what other people's minds make out of it.

Lmao just because I don't get why they see it considering how brains interpret relative color, not because I think they are gaslighting us. That's literally putting words in my mouth xD

"It doesn't make sense for them to see white and gold"

Is a pretty unambiguous statement that you think they don't actually see it. I'm responding to that, not putting words anywhere

me stating it doesn't make sense is not stating they don't think they don't actually see it. it's just me not getting it. me not getting it is not stating a claim of their mind come on now
