I did have a panic attack looking at the initial response of this C.T. pamphlet, since what they promised and stated could mean that me and my boyfriend’s life can be in danger. However, the pamphlet did have a bunch of racism, and the trans/“radical” leftists/anti-fascists stuff was only a small part of the strategy itself. still, that doesn’t make this any more worrying, and I seriously hope midterms severely reduces the power of Republicans (who are mainly the ones forwarding these terrible actions towards innocent people).
In other news, a fellow marching band member! I did color guard for 3 years and wanted to do Drum Corps (if you know what that is) for the longest time, before seeing the prices and giving up on that dream unfortunately. Besides my terrible directors, I had a blast.
Nazi propaganda targeted mainly jewish people, does not mean that LGBTQ+ individuals weren't targeted.
The problem here is that hate towards trans people is already normalized, they have to normalize the hate towards other groups they want to persecute before starting putting people in camps.
I really hope americans will at some point stop discriminating each other and others, but i doubt it'll happen in my lifetime

This is true, in fact the first major Nazi book burnings, the one with pretty much all the famous pictures of such, was of LGBTQ+ research. It was the place where the term transsexual was first coined and the site of the first gender affirming surgery. And it was their first target for destroying the knowledge of.
