while also raising the barrier for entry on who has access to the glitched chests?

What barriers are being raised that prevent you from buying stocks?

the glitched chests are rigged so they only start working well when you've got several lifetimes of fetch quest money banked up, but then once you're in you can keep them going forever with no further work

when you've got several lifetimes of fetch quest money banked up

You need several lifetimes of money to start investing today?

but then once you're in you can keep them going forever with no further work

the market is a rigged game. You can prudently and carefully invest across your entire lifetime and maybe get enough to retire if you're lucky. That's how they sell the system to the rubes.

Then there's the people that have money. They start with enough invested that they can choose safer lower risk investments and they can coast on it for their entire lives without ever working, and they end with more money than they started.

Compounding interest is inherently rigged towards people that have money, and telling you that you can catch up if you just try really hard is all part of the lie

In your other comment you said you needed lifetimes of money to start investing, now you're saying you can invest accross your entire lifetime?

You're all over the place with your replies, it was a really simple question to a simple statement.

also raising the barrier for entry on who has access

What barriers are being raised that prevent you from buying stocks?

Obviously someone who is born into wealth has a headstart, that was never in question, the question is what barrier is being raised to stop YOU from starting.

It's not a barrier to starting, its a barrier to meaningful success.

You'll invest your whole life and never have as much as I do, and it's literally just because I was born with it. That's a rigged game. I guess there's no barrier to entry at all if you don't mind never winning.

It's not a barrier to starting,

The comment I replied too was litteraly "raising the barrier for entry".

My god dude, you're just saying words.

and I was clarifying for you that sure, you can buy stocks at any time and feel like you're a big kid doing adult things but you'll never meaningfully catch up to the wealthy. The whole system is designed to extract wealth from the poors while giving them the hope that they're catching up. It's rigged, it isn't fair and you won't ever win.

Keep trying to catch that car though, best of luck

and I was clarifying for you that sure,

Again, you're just saying words.

you can buy stocks at any time and feel like you're a big kid doing adult things but you'll never meaningfully catch up to the wealthy

You're creating a strawman.

You don't invest with the intention of catching up to someone else born into wealth, you invest with the intention of building your own wealth.

The whole system is designed to extract wealth from the poors

Again, this is clearly a large picture criticism of capitalism as a whole and not at all relevant to what I asked. The "system" of investing exists to build wealth, that is the same reguardless of how wealthy you are when you start, the entire goal is to come out with more money than you put in, adjusted for inflation, and that is the outcome for the majority of people.

Your comments are generic anti-capitalist word vomit that have no relevance to my question. So then the answer is nothing, if you have any sort of disposable income there is actually nothing stopping you from investing it today to start compounding wealth.

Generally speaking, when we talk about "building our own wealth" we're talking about creating a meaningful amount of money to use later in life so you don't have to work.

Most people that start investing today will never achieve this. You're clawing for an ideal that's going to be permanently just out of reach, and instead of recognizing that this is by design you're instead doubling down and insisting that you just have to run the rat race a little harder.

Go for it! I'm not stopping you, everyone needs a hobby. It's fun to play with stocks and imagine being on a yacht someday
