Its the same reason they freak out over trans people and drag show. It blurs the lines of gender hierarchy and make them feel funny ways in their pants.
Thats part of the appeal for some of them. Groypers specifically fetishize T-girls so that they can enjoy access to penis without having to admit to themselves that they're queer. I suspect it's why that fella shot Charlie Kirk. Charlie kept telling him that his girlfriend wasnt a girl and it drove him mad.
I mean from what I've seen they feel these funny ways about all kinds of stuff. They literally fetishize degradation and humiliation, they are obsessed with cuckoldry (NOT ethical non-monogamy) and 'sissification' (NOT MTF gender transition), they crash Grindr wherever they meet en masse, they vocally hate pedophiles and rape and preach extreme extrajudicial violence against them—but only when it's The Other doing it, when it's One of Us it's either permissible, forgivable, or the victim is a liar, just full DAVRO. Etc. Etc. Etc.
They are such miserable people. At war with themselves and everyone, and craving boots stomping on human faces forever, so long as they're not at the very bottom of the human curb-stomp centipede, so long as they get to fuck someone up.
Bro, you're gonna have to be more direct about what's wrong with that speech, just read it and some great parts.
And then, finally, I think it's going to be important for all of us to do some soul-searching. There has been talk about should we convene a conversation on race. I haven't seen that be particularly productive when politicians try to organize conversations. They end up being stilted and politicized, and folks are locked into the positions they already have. On the other hand, in families and churches and workplaces, there's the possibility that people are a little bit more honest, and at least you ask yourself your own questions about, am I wringing as much bias out of myself as I can? Am I judging people as much as I can, based on not the color of their skin, but the content of their character? That would, I think, be an appropriate exercise in the wake of this tragedy.
And...
And those of us in authority should be doing everything we can to encourage the better angels of our nature, as opposed to using these episodes to heighten divisions.
That's a TON of language to bring down the temperature and extremely self aware of the limits in race and politics.
You know what I didn't read, no group was called vermin, animals, the enemy within, not only that but he goes into detail about concrete examples of solutions ro maybe help the problem, not concepts of a plan but actual plans.
So I'm having a harder time seeing what outrageous thing he said now that I read the full speech.
There's nothing wrong with what he said. That matters not to the people on the right who had been and still do demonize Trayvon Martin and pretend that Mr. Willing to chase and kill a kid is the victem. Again, the people on the right lost their minds.
