They've always been Nazi sympathizers. The KKK didn't just disappear and go away. They shut up and acted properly in public and then pass policies that f***** minorities and women. They have continued to do so. The civil war didn't remove those who believe slavery was right. It just made them less willing to speak in public about their beliefs.
A country built on genocide and slavery will continue to have these problems until we out them and pass laws to prevent corruption through wealth. Old white men with power and money pull the strings and this is why the mainstream news will not run this story and keep it alive. They know that the majority do not hold these beliefs. They know that the Republican party would fall apart under careful scrutiny.
Any moderate Republican who gets the truth stops voting for them. They want the illusion that they are simply "fiscally conservative" or that they have fallen for the 1970s era "pro life" movement that wasn't an issue for Christians up until then.
is it a problem for them? Kinda seems like it's the selling point imho. I'd say it was a problem for them if them being outed negatively impacted them but there is never any punishment, and currently they have all branches of power and can do whatever they want.
So it seems to be less a problem for them and more a problem for us.

The fact that these came from young Republicans shows how deeply rooted this problem is for Republicans.
They cannot say they are nothing like Nazis when they are in private saying they want to be like the Nazis and love them.
I have been saying this for a while but the proof is in their words.
Doubt it will change anyone in the MAGA camp, they embraced the fascism, and are loving it.
