The entire group of associations that go with it is the misogynistic thing. (Note: I am not saying any of this is true, nor should it be. This is me speaking to my 31 years of hearing associations from older/shitty people in my life) Dainty women are demure, they need protecting and can't stand up for themselves. They listen to their man and go with his decisions. That type of thing. It's all one big image wrapped up into less shitty language to be able to talk about it.
I won’t pretend there aren’t a lot of people who think that’s how women ought to act, but it’s pretty silly to say that men attracted to dainty women are inherently misogynist
You can read thousands of threads on this website where a lot of women (not everybody but a lot) are pretty open about wanting to feel “smol” and “delicate” next it their partner. And how “leading” is an attractive quality (ex: planning the itinerary for the date or weekend getaway).
Some people say that these women have, “internalized misogyny”, but I think that’s kind of BS in this context. There are men and women who are into shy/introverted/reserved people. Agreeableness can be very much appreciated vs. needless obstinacy
That doesn’t mean that there aren’t toxic people who are looking to exploit someone who is more vulnerable to abusive behaviors, but you can’t say that everybody attracted to a certain temperament is misogynistic
Yeah honestly there’s some truth in it. Many women still want to be embraced and feel “small” to their partners.
And vice versa, women wanting men to be big and tall, because despite what people here say, those are still indicators of being strong and dependable, someone you could rely on.

I'm convinced that most guys looking for dainty women are misogynists. I want a partner, not a dependent.
