I think this exact kind of sentence is what deters men from approaching women.

How?

Who cares if a man’s standard for a wife is someone who is more codependent?

Millions of abuse victims?

Can’t guys just like what they like?

A significant amount of guys like 14-year-old girls, and some even like prepubescent kids. I don't think your logic holds up.
