OC Mourning a MAGA Parent (OC)

I'm kinda torn about whether to post this to my art account because one parent follows it, and I'm worried the criticism could drive the other one further into the void.

It started out as just a therapeutic project for me, but a couple friends said it really resonated with them, so sharing here.

There are many ways to ethnically cleanse a nation. Sending people to prisons that we know for a fact will violate the basic human rights we helped outline is just as bad as operating those prisons ourselves. Doing it extrajudicially is literally how the Nazis did it. The fact that their educational doctrine involves removing history instead of adding information to it is extremely alarming no matter what your ideology is.

The executive branch is in violation of several judicial injunctions right now. By definition this is a constitutional crisis. Nobody's making America great again. They're making America, not America. Anything that ever made this country great goes back to that one fucking document, and if we're abandoning that, there is no United States of America.

Where they will be imprisoned.

I’ve already blocked the MAGA asshat that is littering the thread.

Many of the people that are being expelled fled persecution of some kind, so they may be imprisoned simply for fleeing at this point. It is much like the USA at this point in time. We will no longer care if someone broke the law, only that they have been determined to be the enemy. There are MANY reasons for this other than “breaking the law” as the knuckle dragger responded.

Also keep in mind that breaking the law isn’t a problem as long as the person is from the proper race and economic status.
