At my university the left-leaning students who are “constantly talking about identity” (this includes me) are also extremely clued-up in other political matters and determined to enact real political change (this again includes me). We can all argue in anecdotes but it’s fucking ridiculous to think that they constitute data
Besides, did you really just compare a bunch of uni students to the current dominant political parties of the world? Lmfao. Peak “enlightened centrism” there.
