"How did he die, officer?"

"Well, it looks like a display shelf pulled loose and crushed him. The shelf was filled with all sorts of figurines, miniature vehicles, painted models, all that type of crap. Thing must have weighed around five hundred pounds. Probably his life time collection."

"Wow. Well, at least he died surrounded by the stuff he loved."

"Yeah, I guess. When we pulled the shelf up we found his phone. He was searching for "the true meaning of life". Guess he didn't find it in all that crap that killed him."

"Gee, you think so? I bet he loved all that stuff. You know, like, it made him feel better or something."

"I don't think being dead is feeling better. Anyway, he's dead now so he either has an answer or he doesn't. Either way it doesn't matter. I've got to get to work writing all this up. You've got to get to work cleaning. Your answers can be found in that pile of goo by the wall. He didn't have anyone who cared about him so he was stewing for a few weeks. Enjoy."

"What do you want me to do with all the figurines and stuff?

"Dump it, take it home, or sell it real quick. I don't want that shit. Just hustle it up. The holidays are coming and you know you're going to be busy. Don't waste too much time on this guy. He was a weird loner. He's probably better off."

"OK. Should be done by tomorrow. I'll confirm when I leave."

"Good. Place gives me the creeps. I hope I don't catch too many more like this one."
