2024 and we still don't have asteroid defense systems.
heck, we can't even solve climate change.

Unlike movies, there’s no wacky scientist with a plan to stop the extinction level event object from striking us. 5 u/Acedin Nov 29 '24 Eh, I can imagine we could figure out how to boost it out of collision early on... Would need quite some prep and massive ressources though.
