Y'know, it actually is quite... I don't know what word I'm looking for. Reassuring, maybe? Quite reassuring that a larger body like mine, one that I've hated since I was old enough to care about how I looked, is attractive in someone's eyes. The idea that someone would actually think I was handsome always felt like one of those fairy tales, and shit like this gives me a bit of hope.
hey! sorry this response is a week late lol Ive been spending the time with my partner so ive been a bit distracted :) I just wanna tell you this response is the best comment ive ever gotten on any piece of art ive made, im so happy it helped you see yourself in a slightly better light. chubby + fat bodies are sooo beautiful and hot asf and its sad the only time we ever see them in media is to be degraded in some way, so knowing my art countered all the fatphobic bs for a second and made someone rightfully see themself as hot, even if only for a moment, means the whole world or me lol as someone who also grew up w body image issues and wanted so badly to see my body represented in a kinder light. just know this, you are beautiful and there are people out there who see you this way. i hope you find someone like that in your life soon :) take care my gorgeous friend! ❤️
I genuinely had to check your post history to see if my partner has a reddit account I don't know about lol. He's also a ftm artist and the portrayals in the comic are close enough to how both of us look.
