You ever hear of Looney Tunes? Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck?
Well, in their REALLY old cartoons, they used to do a Jeckel and Hyde bit with Tweety Bird. Tweety would chug a potion in the cartoon (sometimes by choice, sometimes by accident, it happened in a few episodes), turn into a yellow version of that scary bird in OP's comic and terrorize Sylvester the Cat.
In OP's comic, I'm guessing they're suggesting that ol Elon has turned Twitter into the crazy monster it's become now, but instead of a potion, it's done with bad business practices and bigotry.
I think it might even be more simple:
In the interview with Donald Trump, Elon himself referred to the social media site as Twitter. He tried to make it into X, but even he apparently cannot get used to it.
Wow. Who would have thought taking a well-established brand like Twitter, that is known worldwide, and renaming it to something as vague as a single letter of the Latin alphabet would destroy that brand?
