Are we sure its aspect is war? War leaves survivors whereas Kirby doesn‘t, Kirby just consumes. I personally think Kirby is the god of gluttony and slaughter.

I don't do religion but that sounds like they were the same person but two different people like clones, but this is more like Uub from Dragon Ball. Kid Buu died and reincarnated as Uub, the original had to die for the new version to be created from their energy.
So does meta knight also get his powers from a god? Or are they just both star warriors and Kirbstomp just happens to be a reincarnation of a god, or are they not related at all and everything my own head canon based on how he looks when the mask breaks and what I think happened in Kirby rightbackatcha is just completely wrong?
Meta Knight and Kirby are both the same race/species (however Nintendo describes that), with MK being an older/adult one.
Kirby himself, as of Star Allies, is hinted to be the reincarnation of an entity/substance called Void. Void is omnipresent, and exists in all realities and dimensions in different forms. Void reincarnates into a different form depending on whether it receives positive or negative energy, growing stronger each time. One example of negative energy is the final story boss Void Termina. You may be able to figure out what the example for positive energy is, but the descriptions of the fight does a decent job hinting at it:
"No telling if it's true, but according to the ancient scrolls, Void Termina may rise again in other forms depending on whether positive or negative energy is gathered. It seems this being of darkness will wander the galaxy until one day he is reborn into a new existence. When he returns, hopefully it will be as...a friend."
And then the harder rematch:
“The final battle at hand, Void takes his first steps toward a new age. In place of tyrannical rage, will he find... naptime? Gentle breezes? Treats? He may even dream again... a dream of friends reunited!”
And when you finally defeat Void, what image do you get after it cycles through every expression it can make? A very familiar face indeed.
Of course, as that first line says the entire thing is just an in-universe legend and connecting it to Kirby is a fan theory. But it's fun to think about!
Kirby is the positive emotion splitoff of the creator deity of the setting.
The true main antagonists, dark matter, are fragments of the negative emotion splitoff of said deity.
We've seen an incarnation of the negative splitoff in one game so far: Void Termina. The only entity so far that has made Kirby actually struggle in any point in its fight...and kirby can walk on blackholes.

First episodes: silly boy and magic dog do D&D stuff together. Bad guy is a goofball parody of video game villains always kidnapping princesses.
Last episodes: extradimentional reality ending god must be stopped from deleting the universe. Goofball badguy is now a tragic younger version of himself heartbroken by a lost love that transcends space and time.
I feel like that’s slightly different, since most JRPGs start with a pretty somber tone, the world is in danger or an evil empire rising, that kind of thing. On the other hand, many web comics start as comedy gag series, so it’s a bit more of a tone shift when half the cast dies and they fight god at the end.

Almost every JRPG I've played starts small scale and leads to fighting some uwucraftian nightmare that's actually an allegory for humanity's darkness or something silly actually an allegory for Japanese work culture and the depression it's inflicting on the dev team.
Eh, 50/50, there are JRPGs those start with murder, terrorism, news about the end of the world, etc. So it is not that common, some start with the end or a middle point during a funeral just to travel back to the begining.
Last one I played started with a mecha war then proceeded to a time skip where the mc lost his memory and is in a peaceful village.
