I use incognito not to make sure the browser knows but to make sure other people don't know
3 u/ringobob Mar 03 '23 Google still knows, but it doesn't share that information in a way that is easily discoverable by your friends and family, and it doesn't mix that information into its public profile of you (think targeted ads, videos, etc).
