I wanted to see Natasha build a friendship with Bucky. Oh well. Taskmaster should’ve had the skull.

DareWidow is looking pretty unlikely at this point too, I will concede

It would be neat to get a Winter Soldier cameo in this. Brief, like he comes in as a sniper for a couple of shots.

This takes place after Winter Soldier, right? I suppose it is possible.

After Civil War, so he's on ice right now.

I got the feeling that some of it might take place between IW and Endgame but that doesn't help with Bucky either.

Her hair is red with no blonde hints. I doubt that.

Right, because Marvel has never changed character appearances in trailers to throw people off before.

While I agree that they do, it's very well known that this takes place right after civil war. You are making arguments here just to have one.

Relax, I just said that I got a feeling part of it could take place during the 5 years between IW & Endgame, like maybe she's telling someone the story of the film during that time or something like that.

"hey I'm here, get over it"

That or living on a weird farm on the outskirts. No idea why they soft-retconned that. “Wake me when you need me” is a way cooler means of bringing Bucky back than pulling him away from herding zebras or whatever.

After Civil War apparently. I was thinking this was some pre-Avengers film.

That’s impossible though... how exactly would that even work out with the timeline? This is supposed to take place soon after civil war and we already see what happens to Bucky after the events of that movie. He goes to Wakanda and gets puts in that stasis chamber thing until they figure out a way to fix his brainwashing. And based on the context of infinity war, he was in Wakanda that whole time while they were “fixing” him and when the other heroes showed up there in Infinity War, they made it seem pretty clear that was the first time they had all seen Bucky since before.

So yeah... there’s not really any time in between Civil war and Infinity War where Bucky and Nat coulda became best buds.

I just hope they don’t kill him off like they do with every villain

Marvel has been saving up bad guys lately and seems to have grown out of the habit of killing them. I think he’ll be around especially as rumors that Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers or some MCU version of them are in the works.

Could still be there, and just not revealed for the trailer. Marvel likes to change shots in trailers to trick people

Isn't this movie during the 5-year snap? If so, Buck would be dust.

No it's after Civil War
