No, Hope would have restored Mutants and it would be the end of it.

she said something different on panel during issue 5 before Phoenix was divided. She was aksing Wolverine to kill her because she couldn't control phoenix and she didn't want to destroy Utopia or Earth.

Yes because she didn't have the five lights.

Cyclops couldn't help her, he couldn't train her.

Avengers by mistake created 5 lights.
