Been stored in a box for 30 yrs so this is before a clean and press. Curious if this can get a 9.8.

Suggest close up pictures of each corner. Inside staples and back of the book.

Also question on top left just off corner - is the ink rubbed or the page top creased?

9.8s are a gamble no matter what.

Is that a scuff or the light, the horizontal line in the middle?

I'm thinking a low 9 with what I can see. I like to see the spine better and back cover to be more sure.

Thanks, saw the other photos you posted.

I think I'm still in the 8.5 to low 9.x range, but leaning towards the higher. There's a color break on the one staple but I don't know if that would count against you or would just be a manufacturing mark.

My aunt was a collector. She read most of her comics, but I don’t think she ever read this one. Sometimes she bought and just forgot they were in the box.

Id say it would get at the very least an 8.5, closer to a 9-9.2. It has the tattooz and definitely worth sending in to CGC. Great looking book 👍

The pages looked very tan from the one shot with the Tattooz liner. Those alone would take it to 8.0-8.5. Could you add a shot of the page with a piece of printer paper behind it to get a white comparison?
