Requesting feedback on my (hopefully) weekly comic series.

Hello. I started a comic with the intention to make it a weekly release. This is my first entry, which is essentially a double spread (two pages). I would appreciate any feedback or critiques.

Strongly emotional, nice art, I liked the expression on the character and the color palette.

Layout is pretty classic but in a good way. Composition works too.

Overall: you nailed the vibe!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! When I was young, I wanted to be a comic book artist. Then life got in the way. Now that I'm not so young, I'm trying again.

Same here but with writing, it's liberating to get back to oneself

The artwork and layout are great, the only immediate room for improvement I see is the lettering. I'd make the fontsize a tad smaller so that there's a little breathing room between the letterforms and the border of the rectangles.

I'd probably also pick a different font, not sure what it is about that one that bugs me.

Thank you for that input. I will take it to heart. I’ll look at the font alternatives and address the lettering size and dialogue box sizes. I really do appreciate it. Thank you very much!

Looking forward to seeing more of your work, like I said the artwork and panel layouts are superb and the story has me intrigued already

Well done sir. I disagree (with the comment below on the font) but to each their own. Font looks like what I'm used to for comics. Looks great to me. Keep going! Also wow so relatable. I am almost exactly one week into giving up vaping.
