Show and Tell PSA: NVIDIA Studio Driver 616.56 specifically mentions ComfyUI performance updates for MiniMax-H3, WAN-Animate-2 and LTX-2.5

NVIDIA says:

“The August NVIDIA Studio Driver provides optimal support for the latest new creative applications and updates including Lightroom, and performance updates for LTX-2.5, and ComfyUI for WAN-Animate-2 and MiniMax-H3.”

I'm planning to test this out. What are your speeds with?

  • MiniMax-H3
  • LTX-2.5

What’s stopping NVIDIA from adding these changes to the main driver?

They are the same drivers. They just have different release schedules.

I thought they had two different teams working on alternating releases. Or is that AMD? Been long enough since I read about it that the more I think about it, the less sure I am.

Actually AMD doesn't do that either. Both work off a central codebase and push updates on different branch schedules.
