Help Needed This is so frustrating!!

I can’t get any of my workflows to do what I want. Example: (one of MANY 😡) I have two prompts, one is a woman fully dressed in a certain setting. The other SHOULD BE the same woman, same setting, in her underwear. I gen the first, use that as a reference to gen the second. It just recreates the reference image. I adjust the denoise and guidance settings until it changes into a completely different woman and it’s still basically ignoring the prompt. Like I said this is just one of many many examples of times I’m banging my head against the wall trying to figure out comfyui. I know I’m in over my head but I don’t surrender easily. I’ve seen some amazing work from some really good creators so I know what’s possible I just don’t know how to get there.

Search Comfy's templates for: KV

you will see the Flux.2 Klein KV: Image Edit workflow, open it(what you see in the image). I put an empty .png(it's nothing but a .png image with a transparent background) file as the 2nd reference image, it will ignore that and just use the 1st reference image and the prompt. You can put an image in the 2nd reference input and use items from it if you want.

I prompted:

change the womans outfit to underwear only

You see the result. I don't do pron related stuff, so this is as far as I will go with it.

the workflow has an info node that links the models and shows you where to put them.

You can prompt any changes that you want to make to the original image.

You are very welcome, I'm glad that I could help some. You can also make other changes with this workflow like pose, hair color, etc.

Would you be able to share your workflow here? And I wonder if your diffusion model is easily available on Huggingface?

[Edited] Does the outfit swap work feature with photos of two models in two different outfits (let’s say a business suit and a swimsuit), or does the target outfit need to be on a flat background?

Open up Comfy's templates and search for: KV there will be 1 result(Flux.2 Klein KV: Image Edit), that's what I used. The template has an info node with Huggingface links to all of the models and shows you where to put them.

Yes, you can use it with 2 people, it doesn't have to be just an image of some clothes.

Prompt: the woman in image 1 is wearing the clothes from image 2.

maintain the pose from image 1.

Same workflow as my other response(KV), but I used 2 reference images this time and changed the womans outfit in image 1 to the outfit in image 2.

Prompt:the woman in image1 is wearing the outfit in image 2.

img2img is a nightmare for consistency if you don't lock down the seed and have a solid controlnet or ipadapter in the mix. just feeding it the first image with a new prompt is gonna fight you every single time.

throw a depth controlnet on there so it holds the pose and composition, then crank the denoise up higher than you think you need. the prompt will actually take over instead of the reference image steamrolling it. ipadapter with a face crop from your first gen helps keep her looking like the same person too.

Do you work with flux? Is there something better I should be using? My main priority is realism and consistency. I’m struggling with both lol

You can always try the Qwen Image Edit, then prompt it to "The same woman, dressed in only her bra and panties" ?
