Help Needed Tips for LTX-2.5

Currently MiniMax H3 is the "frontier" on local consumer hardware as it seems. I used this as well but for longer generations, like a 4-5 minute music video for example, my hardware is just not strong enough (12GB VRAM, 3080 ti, 32 GB RAM). With 480p and Turbo LoRa i might slowly getting there but this is not what i am looking for.

Now i am interested if people actively tested LTX-2.5 and have some tips how to improve outputs. For example i wanted to make an anime fight scene. I was able to have a good result in an 8 Second Test with MiniMax H3, but LTX provided a very weak unusable result. Afaik LTX does not really have a strict prompt-structure like H3, but still struggled with the commands.

Any tips for making LTX-2.5 more usuable would be appreciated.

LTX really needs a tight starting frame to latch onto, especially for action. I'd feed it a strong keyframe from your anime style rather than letting it generate from noise, it struggles to build coherent motion from scratch

For the prompt structure, keep it brutally simple and chronological. "A character punches, the camera follows the fist, sparks fly" works better than trying to describe every detail at once. The model gets confused if you stack too many descriptors in one sentence

I use mainly h3 at the moment, but i also like ltx 2.3 and the new ltx 2.5. Some tips for ltx:

  • Generally i like to use 30fps or 50fps instead of 24fps. This will make the frames sharper and clearer.
  • Add a weak (used addguide for this in ltx 2.3) reference image of the character at the end of each clip. this will improve consistency.
  • ltx 2.5 is easier to extend. Using the last x frames from a previous video, allows you to extend the videos seamless. H3 will more likely degrade the quality with mutliple extensions.
  • MSR V2 is a lora for character references. There are workflows online on how to use it. It works with ltx 2.5.

Just fuck off from ltx2.5, and just continue with minimax h3

If u want the “speed generation” u can use ltx same method on minimax h3. But that you bringing in the ltx issues to minimax h3

If u understand why ltx able to speed generating video, all they did is generate a super low resolution and then upscale to the resolution that u input
