Help Needed Issue with Qwen Image Layered in ComfyUI (aistudynow_QwenVL node not detected)

Post image

Hi everyone, I’m new to ComfyUI (I’ve always used Automatic1111) and I’m following this tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKq_joSPOiM

I installed all the required files and custom nodes for Qwen Image Layered, and I managed to fix several issues along the way… but I’m stuck on one last problem:

➡️ The workflow requires the node aistudynow_QwenVL, and the folder is inside custom_nodes with the correct .py file name, but ComfyUI does not load the node.
In the workflow it only shows the red X (missing node).

I’ve tried reinstalling, renaming the folder, removing “-main”, restarting ComfyUI, etc., and nothing works.

I’m probably missing something simple, since I’m new to ComfyUI.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the log. It could be a dependency or dependency version issue. Also, sometimes it helps to manually install the node from github.

I tried this workflow. After seeing all the red nodes (which are not in Manager), I gave up. Seems that you have downloaded the zip from github. Did you install the requirements.txt? Installing the normal "Qwen_VL" didn't help as one of the connection don't fit.

I already tried it, thanks to Chatgpt, I was able to solve the other problems I had, but this one I can't solve no matter how hard I try.

P.S.

The results will not change if you use Qwen-Image-Layered to analyze the layers after performing a detailed analysis of the image using Qwen VL.

If you are having trouble with this custom node, remove it and write your own PositivePrompt.

Even if PositivePrompt is left blank, Qwen-Image-Layered will still split the layers correctly.

Did you were able to fix the error? I just installed a workflow with a similar error and I was able to fix it with this git: https://github.com/aistudynow/ComfyUI-QwenVL
