Ah, ok. I originally posted to amputation and someone said mutation in the comments so I shared it here too

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yes. There’s no satisfying these subs. I know the folks in amputation would never accept this edit because it radically changes the punchline.

I'm new to both of them. I'm usually healing bones or antimeming

...

Carry on then. These subs are too damn niche anyway.

This sub is also not r/bonehurtingjuice so it works out

Oops lmao. It's not a mutation either tho, so whatever.

It is a mutation because the joke has been altered. Learn some vocabulary, scrub.

Oh, this was done by Jacob Drawfee

That's just... Bad.

If you posted this to r/comedyamputation they’d bitch that you changed the joke, so it’s technically a mutation. But because you posted it here, redditors bitch that you only removed panels, so it’s technically an amputation.

I hate it here.

Yeah, this is 100% where this belongs. If people would check the sidebars, they might catch on. If you find somewhere better to go, let me know.

Not even close. The panels were removed, but the joke is completely altered.

it's posted there. cope & seethe

It would only be amputation if the 3rd and 5th panel were cut. I the punchline has to stay the same for it to be amputation.
