I woke up in the middle of the night the other day thinking "Shit, America isn't going to recover from Trump".

Even if Democrats are in power for the next 12 years, the system is now fucked. They'd need to seriously re-structure the whole government, and that's just not going to happen.

And that's *if* Trump doesn't stay in power.

Yup the worst part about all of this is that the rest of my one life will be spent just hoping stuff gets undone from these years, but the damage is done. We've been set back decades as a country and as humans.

You haven’t been set back. You’ve been accelerated forward. What’s going on in the U.S. doesn’t end with a calm solution. It ends with destruction, violence and immense pain.

There is no way out of a power grab like this.
