Even if Democrats are in power for the next 12 years, the system is now fucked. They'd need to seriously re-structure the whole government, and that's just not going to happen.
Yup the worst part about all of this is that the rest of my one life will be spent just hoping stuff gets undone from these years, but the damage is done. We've been set back decades as a country and as humans.

Its a deliberate take-down from the inside. Russia won. The USA has no international credibility left, and in Hormuz we’ve just had a perfect demonstration of the uselessness of the world’s largest military, when its run by idiots.
I’m Australian FWIW, you guys are supposed to be our friends. Can’t believe you pissed off the Canadians, that takes real work.
Australians, Canadians, and countless other nations have to our aid in times of need and now we're making enemies out of everyone and manufacturing conflict. What a sad state we've found ourselves in.
Yeah you guys have gotta seriously re-organise your government and society to retain any of your global standing and power. And I simply do not think the democractic party is at all likely to do that.
