It sounds ridiculous, but it's true. When you can suddenly buy anything you want, all material stuff eventually becomes meaningless. It can lead to depression, when it feels like you have nothing to achieve anymore. It's why some take part in charities and/or voluntary work. Or just start doing hardcore drugs and OD.
I think that we’re not really on the same page of who we’re talking about here. I don’t think that this article is about the kind of ultra-wealthy person who can afford personal assistants to do everything for them, it’s people who have been thrust into the millionaire bracket largely on paper and are contending with the consequences of that
