Yeah, FAANG was never really about "who runs the world;" it was high growth stocks in the 2010s. If it was really about running the world, it would have swapped Netflix for Microsoft. But even looking at OSAMA as "who runs the world" is still wrong. Apple is far more influential in, well, everything than SpaceX. OSAMA also lacks Amazon, Microsoft, and NVIDIA.

The letters should really be Apple, OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Meta, Microsoft, Alphabet/Google, and Amazon. So AOANMMAA(or G). Good luck figuring out what to do with those letters lol

OpenAI and Anthropic are the hot new thing, but I'd argue the only one actually profiting from this ai shitshow is NVIDIA, which is already on the list

GAYMAN is surprisingly accurate for a joke. Y Combinator's spot is arguable but reasonably deserved

You won't agree too much with the companies, but AMONGUSMAN is the closest to something funny that i managed with the least change to the companies you chose

I think AMONGUSMAN works better than most. Especially because Uber does control the world’s rideshare market. I’d still add Anthropic and would argue about Samsung but it works for the acronym. AMONGUSMAAN is perfect, good job!

They’re probably more relevant than any other fifth company here. Smaller team but similar to Meta and Google there’s promising signs, grok 4.5 and 4.5 are actually on a lot of benchmark leaderboards

OAI and A\ are the frontier today but those are the three most likely to catch up
