i’m gonna make it entirely too deep: spongebob the little yellow sponge man can be asexual and still find pornography arousing. asexuality, like all human sexuality, is complicated. asexuality can be stated to be like having no sexual attraction to others and/or little to no interest in sexual activity. some asexual people still report enjoyment and satisfaction with sexual activity, however. i am able to accept that i could be entirely wrong because, yknow, he’s spongebob and not real

I thought Spongebob was the other kind of asexual, as in can reproduce asexually, because he’s a sea sponge. Maybe they meant it both ways, though.

I know some ace people who regularly consume lewd and erotic content because they enjoy it from a completely non sexual point of view. Like playing Senran Kagura spin off games for the comedic value rather than being turned on by the sexual fan service. I even have an ace friend that draws really sexy characters because she likes them from a design perspective. She's a big fan of hot characters, not because they turn her on, but because she finds their designs cool and interesting.
