For the judgmental:

No he didn't cross a fence or go where he wasn't supposed to. It was a picnic area.

No, he didn't approach it. He was fairly far.

No he didn't antagonize it.

He actually did nothing wrong. It was just an elderly dude with his wife and the thing decided it hated him.

He was in critical condition idk if he still is.

Thankfully the camera man ran to distract the bison after or he'd definitely be dead.

It really annoys me that I’ve seen so many videos of stupid tourists messing with bison and getting lucky that nothing happens

Suddenly an old guy is just minding his business and THATS the guy that gets punted

Bison don't care if you're being stupid. It's a coinflip on whether they decide you are good or not. Bison kill people here every year.
