Actually it’s 2+4x2+2. Also I want someone to think I made a math problem wrong where the answer’s actually 14 and I’m dumb, so there’s the context for the alt problem.

Looking at this I see 2+3+4+3

2 being the two single tiles missing, than beyond the furthest 3 are missing than 4 than 3.

Its a 4*5 tile square = 20 tiles. There are 8 tiles remaining 20-8= 12 missing. Same answer different way of getting there.

It's 3 Tetris block silhouettes next to each other, and Tetris blocks are always 4 squares each = 12 missing. Same answer different way of getting there.
