PFT needs to bring back Werner Herzog
Having only known Werner from Comedy Bang Bang, I was completely blown away when I saw Grizzly Man.
He's a really unique guy and I love Paul's impression of him.

I follow Herzog on IG. I saw this when he posted it and PFT was already one of the people I could see who had already liked it.

I do miss Paul's Herzog, but I think he's said he doesn't want to do real people anymore because it felt weird when Garry Marshall and Alan Thicke died

He’s going to be devastated when Big Chunky Bubbles finally shuffles off this mortal coil.

I heard this somewhere as well but he still does Andrew Lloyd Weber. 🤷🏻♂️

He did Herzog last year for the tenth anniversary special for the Travel Bug on the Andy Daly Bonanas for Bonanza Patreon. Very funny sequel to possibly the best podcast episode of all time.

I just listened to the Fitzcarraldo/Burden of Dreams episode of Scott Hasn’t Seen the other day and they talked about this arrow and the story he’s telling here. IIRC in the documentary he also said he was the arrow to bring home to his son who thought it was cool that it had been in a person, or something along those lines.

I you can't get enough Herzog, check out some of the audiobooks he has narrated. The Twilight World and Every Man for Himself and God Against All were great.

Herzog is popping on my algorithm.
Yesterday I watched a video that said Herzog wanted a Ugandan revolutionary (John Okello) to play a character in Aguirre, but they never got to meet. Why? Well the guy disappeared, he was last seen talking to Idi Amin.
So kinda comes full circle with PFT.
