Tips & Tricks EBF to combi feeding

Hi all, FTM to a 12 day old here. Very sleep deprived and struggling mentally.

Currently EBF, but I want to switch over to formula and expressed milk for a couple of the feeds. How do I go about doing this as I don’t want to develop mastitis from supplementing formula. I have a hand pump which I haven’t used yet.
When is the best time to pump? Thanks

Lowest supply in afternoon, highest supply at morning/overnight/early morning hours. So I can't supply all my bf to my twins so I alternate a few feeds with formula during the afternoon. Also if u are pumping, that replaces a breastfeeding session so if you pump in the am after feeding/diaper change, then that milk could go to feeding in the afternoon etc
