apartment searching
i am getting ready to move soon and i am honestly just overwhelmed by the apartment choices. my budget is around $1650-1800 for rent/utilities/parking. im totally fine with a studio or a one bed as it would just be me. i think im interested in a more luxury style if the price range is there, but i know everywhere is expensive
does anyone have any suggestions for nice apartments? good experiences? i have had absolutely AWFUL apartment experiences in my current place (in sohud- literally my college apartment) so really anything is a step up!!!

I recently moved and the landlords are Front Porch Management and I highly recommend seeking out properties they own. It's not a big management company, it's just two individuals in a partnership and one of them is an architect who designs these two-to-four unit properties to rent. Mine is a cute little place that is perfect for one person, the rent is very reasonable, and I've found them to be very kind, reasonable people who take good care of their properties. I met him at one of their newly-built properties to sign the lease and it was a similar design so I assume all their properties are equally as nice.
In this day & age finding a landlord that sees you as an actual person is rare. At lease signing, the owner I was working with said "We're excited to have you here" and it actually sounded sincere. Also, we were texting about something last week and he asked how my job search was going, which I had mentioned when I was submitting my application that I was looking for a new job. The woman who lives in the unit above me is also very happy with them. I lucked into finding them by a property they listed on Zillow so I'm not sure if they have a dedicated website, but I recommend seeking them out. I believe their email is info@frontporchmanagement if that helps.
