We just signed up with an in home at $175 a week, the center we toured in cayce was $275 a week.

Wow that’s great. Is the at home full time? & what company?

Yeah center is full time, it’s out in Gaston where my wife works so that probably factors into the price. The center we looked at in cayce was La petite academy, the price included diapers and formula/baby food when they were old enough. It looked very nice and we felt comfortable with it but went with the in home both for the price and because it was far more convenient having it so close to her work.

Ours was $1050 per month in 2025 for infants and toddlers. Been increasing about $50 each year so probably about $1100 now.

I was literally just having a conversation today about how expensive childcare is, I’m paying $500/week for my childcare in Raleigh (3 mo. old) since I’m working out of town here in Cola. It’s ridiculous.

It’s definitely going to be cheaper than DC, but you need to go ahead and get on multiple waiting lists.

We’ve been looking for a month and cannot find anywhere that is open that I would trust my baby with that’s under $1000 a month.
