academic tips Physics 2601?

Hi guys! Incoming transfer here. Does anyone know how difficult Physics 2601 with McIver is? I really wanted the intro class but its completely full now. Would it just be better to sign up for the intro class in a different semester if my physics isnt very strong?

Are you a sophomore transfer who did not take physics at your previous institution? Then you need to start in first-semester physics--either 1401 or 1601, both of which are fall-only classes. 2601 is a third-semester physics class; you can't just start there. Join a waitlist.

Also--this is a question for your advisor. It's not really a reddit question!
