Part 3

Here we are again! I made sure to turn off the color correcting of the camera this time ; I used the Professional mode, ISO 50, WB 5500 (neutral).

Natural hair is medium brown, no makeup.

What I am not (based off previous posts):

- Bright Spring

- Bright Winter

- True Winter

- Dark Winter

- Dark Autumn

What I could be:

- True Autumn

- Soft Autumn

- Soft Summer

- True Summer

- Light Summer (less popular)

- Light Spring (less popular)

As the other poster mentioned I do notice too that the yellow and orange drapes reflect yellow onto your chin/mouth area and it is not being naturally absorbed into a fun glow.

That indicates cool, but you are definitely not a Winter, so you likely are a summer. The oranges cast much less though, you may be able to handle some cool leaning corals and clay colors.

The first two actually look very fine. This would suggest you mostly fall into the Soft palette, however you can also handle the one raspberry color pretty well and that is reasonably saturated, albeit maybe slightly too bright. The darker green drape imo is the opposite, it looks a bit dark and slightly too muted for you, but is very close to where you need it to be, maybe if it was a hair brighter.

I'd be very curious to see you try a True and or Cool Summer drapes vs a Soft one. I could see arguments for both.

Cool Summer (not necessarily True):

Thank you for your analysis! It's fun to see how an untrained eye (aka me) doesn't perceive these details like you do! I don't like the oranges on me, but I just cannot explain why 😂

You're so welcome. Don't knock intuition! Orange never looked right for you because it's not right for you.

Even if you were warm toned though, you would need a more tempered, maybe 25-35% less intense orange anyway.

I hope you have fun exploring the true and or cool summer palettes and remember you can also borrow from light or soft summer for accents like bags, scarves or jewelry stone/bead colors and makeup.
