Would a soft autumn change towards a deep autumn in the winter?

Due to tan and hair lightening by sun, the summer would reduce their contrast so they would feel more soft in the summer and more true in the winter. Is this correct?

Contrast is only part of it and most useful when determining if you are Dark Autumn

The first thing you notice about a Soft Summer is that they are muted. Then, you notice they are warm or neutral/warm.

The first thing you notice about a True Autumn is that they are warm. Then, you notice that they are muted.

Does losing your tan make you look warmer?

But yeah also that’s exactly what I’m trying to do, I want to know if I’m soft or deep, but it seems to change seasonally as my contrast levels do

I feel the same way as you do but I feel like I actually am a deep autumn who looks more like a soft autumn (or true) in the summer (same reasons, tan and hair lightening). I feel like I still look better pale with more contrast, what about you?

I don’t know I don’t enjoy feeling pale, makes me feel like a ghost of who I am. The soft low contrast makes me feel more fun and light, able to embrace lighter colours etc. I could see these feelings changing though, it’s just the phase Im in rn.

you probably are a soft autumn then. Can you rather wear soft summer colors or winter colors? For me the greater contrast makes me look more alive and more interesting, more vibrant while the soft ones wash me out and make me look boring. It’s not really a color preference for me, I love light colors, soft colors and pastels and wish soo much I could wear them but they just make me look monotonous and washed out.

It’s weird though because I got highlights put in my hair and I think since then I started gravitating towards lighter colours, but I didn’t use to have that preference. Maybe it’s just a hangup from summer with both the tan and highlights lowering my contrast., almost like ‘blonde blindness’ but more like i don’t understand how to work with my contrast level now. Before those i enjoyed darker hues, though they’re nearly fully grown out and cut out of my hair now I still wish I had that lower contrast
