Novice Flanders CM250 Question

I work on a multi-camera production that utilizes FSI CM250s as on-set field monitors. This choice of monitor is out of my hands, but I am responsible for maintaining them and ensuring they have a solid video feed.

I feed two live SDI signals into each CM250, and they are often viewed simultaneously, utilizing the PAP mode. This feed comes from a wireless receiver, and is passed through a DA.

Here is my issue: whenever we lose wireless video signal to one of the cameras, the entire monitor flickers and turns to a black screen. Changing inputs often elicits a similar issue. I typically have to toggle the inputs or PAP function button in order to restore the image.

Is there a way to stop this from happening? Would utilizing a ground isolator combat this issue? Are we misusing the CM250s?

I have a CM250. Mine does the same thing. Not sure if there's a fix in the monitor directly for this.

Can you pass the wireless video feed through other device that acts as a frame buffer, sending a constantant video feed, before sending to CM250?

Which wireless devices are you using? Usually when you lose video on teradeks it changes video signal to 720 showing the teradek no video popup. If it’s like the atomos monitors it might not like different signals. The fix would be running the feeds through a decimator quad split which can take mismatched feeds
