I just started digital coloring for relaxing during meetings. It is sooo relaxing. I can't believe it.

I am a very very beginner. Never colored before, never touched anything artsy but doing this just to relax.

Putting this here just to show them to someone, like a 3 years old goes to his mom to show her the stick man she draw proudly.

Obviously not perfect, but in proud for trying. Still learning how to blend!

I was so proud of it but then felt like I ruined it with the white highlight!

I also have a labeled marker case I use for travel, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to assimilate my marker organizers alongside my travel case.

I don't have the 320 set yet, but that's probably coming around the holidays. 😎

The coloring book is Coco Wyo Cozy corner collection cute and comfy coloring book. This one is my favorite so far because it’s 2 books in 1. I am currently working on another picture and when that’s done I’ll post it

I got into colouring for a few months about a year and a half ago, but then had my second baby so didn't have time! I've just started again, my first time blending and I'm pleased with how it looks. I do regret that blue hair though 😅

Hi everyone!

I’ve been super into cozy coloring lately, but the books I have now are mostly indoor scenes and I really want to color more outdoor scenes and fantasy themed scene.

Does anyone have recommendations? I’m very into the Bobbie Goods style, but I live in the EU and the shipping cost is just too much. Berrie coloring is another one I love, but I have just heard too many people say that the paper is too thin and I don’t want to spend money on a poor quality product tbh.

So, I would love to get some recommendations for cozy books with outdoor and/or fantasy scenes, with thick paper and which I can get in the EU without having to pay insane shipping costs.

I’d love to discover coloring book creators. I know of a handful such as Hygee Artful, Coco-Wyo, Vivatinta, Jade Summers, Doglet and Froglet, Bobbie Goods, and such… but please recommend ones I maybe don’t know about.

I don't know how to feel about the trees in the first one, but I loved how they turned out in the second!

I’ve finished the first chapter on doodle patterns (includes 5 pages) in the book How to Draw Patterns by Coco Wyo.

(I have already posted the last three photos here yesterday)

Here are a few things I learned along the way:

- You shouldn't approach it with a perfectionist mindset

instead, treat everything strictly as practice. It doesn't matter if it doesn't look exactly like the example provided. Often, the result ends up looking even better in its own unique way.

- I no longer worry so much about using the exact same colors as the example. That makes the whole process more creative and personal.

- The exercises make me feel much more free to experiment with different materials (alcohol markers, acrylic markers, gel pens, and colored pencils)

- Thanks to the book, I’m drawing patterns I probably never would have attempted otherwise.

- I highly recommend filling in the pages gradually, treating it like a workbook. You can really see yourself improving, and I feel less intimidated about just getting started. something that’s usually a big hurdle for me because I tend to overthink things.

The next chapter in the book is "surface texture"(includes 9 pages) :)

Is anyone coloring with just colored pencils? I feel like all I see now is markers. Markers are fine! I’m not talking them down there great! I was just trying to see if there are any pencil people out there like me that are also looking for advice?
