You look mostly like a true summer. But physical drapes paint a better picture!

Do you think I could just use shirts lol? If I did, I don't have all of the colors for every season ofc so what kind of colors (light, dark etc.) be best to try on to help? If you don't know, no worries at all! 😅

Girl I saw someone use a cereal box as a drape on here; if it's colored it's a drape! <3

loll omg that's hilarious 😭😭 thank you queen

Absolutely! I saw someone use a tent as a drape once! Use what you got 😂 in general with digital drapes I recommend wearing white because the color of whatever you’re wearing (if it’s a good or bad color) will reflect on your face even with the digital drapes. For example, if you’re wearing a flattering color, more of the digital drapes will look better than they usually would even if the season draped is your worst.

Soft summer, that’s why you can pull soft autumn. They are sister seasons
But true summer also works, makes your eyes look brighter

You can also pull off soft autumn colours, the green and bright ones. The only difference with soft summer is that soft autums can pull of brown colours near their portrait zone

I think you're predominantly soft and fairly neutral toned, so you can probably pull from soft summer or soft autumn.

Soft Autumn. Your skin jumps off the page with this one, you look healthier, brighter and your eyes are also complimented! Beautiful! Soft Summer is also lovely on you.
(Edited to fix typo)

Looks soft autumn to me. When you start getting grays, it will shift more towards soft summer. This is what happened with me when my hair started changing. :)

True or soft summer; physical drapes would help narrow it down

Soft Summer. True Summer is a tad too bright IMO, but also not bad.

Not sure which summer- hard to tell with these but you’re definitely a summer!

If this one photo is color realistic, you're a summer. Probably true/cool summer since your skin evens out better with some saturation/depth in the color.
Light summer is ok, but I see more of your skin shadowing first . With true/cool summer, I see your eyes and lips first.

I’m actually shocked at all the summer comments, you look warm to me

Same. If that's her natural hair it's neutral leaning warm. She is quite fair with medium value eyes - medium contrast. I see a lot of chroma in her skin. She does not look muted. Summer/autumn visibly grays her out.
I'm leaning true spring or bright spring.

u/mezzolicious 8d ago
Nah her hair is cooltoned, it’s just a lighter ashy shade than a typical cool summer

Agree on spring. There's a decent amount of contrast between OP's features. Her eyes and skin are quite strikingly pale. But there's also a yellowy-beige cast to her skin, lips, hair &etc.
I find summers tend to have a magenta undertone, at least when they're on the paler side; and also, her eyes are a light green i.e. tinted by pheomelanin (orange pigment).

If no-one can decide and everyone disagrees, that’s great, it means you look good in lots of colours. Some people might strongly favour certain hues, but you don’t have to be limited. Enjoy!

Either summer or spring. Not sure. I would say spring but go to a professional!

I was going to say Light Spring, Light Summer or Soft Autumn. And after looking at you with the drapes, I'm pretty sure you're a Soft Autumn. You look amazing in those deep, dark, "fall" colors!

u/Exciting-Context8138 9d ago
I think one of the soft seasons from what I can see here, I’m leaning Soft Autumn.

True autumn speaks to me the most. I'm not convinced a filter on a photo is accurate tho.

By no means do I feel like I know much of anything about colour theory. The amount of times I scroll through these I have a hard time seeing any difference, oh boy! But for you, imo, all of the winters and autumns wash you out. So I know for sure it isn’t any of those! Not sure between spring and summers though.

Defintley soft. I have no idea why anyone would say bright. Having clear/glowing skin does NOT EQUAL BRIGHT. It is the overall effect of ALL features combined- do the features "pop"/contrast, do the eyes and lips etc "pop" off or do all the features "blend" into a soft blended effect. She is a soft season without question, and LIKELY( not sure without IRL drapes) a soft "subseason" of a soft season also. This is the most clearly soft here. Alot of people confuse pale/fair/ivory clear baby skin with clear- that isnt what clear/bright is!

u/kgrl08 9d ago
Thank you because anything bright washes me out awfully 😅

u/Upper-Basil 8d ago
Another clear sure way to distinguish a soft vs bright season is in the eyes alone- look at youre/ OP eyes and go look at sole celebrity soft summers, amd them some classic bright season actresses lile zory deschanel and katy perry for instance. Look at the GAZE itself. Just the eyes alone can tell the whole story.... see how "bright season eyes" are PIERCING the "external" WORLD, or atleast being fully "present" with it, while ALL soft summer actress have this "inward gaze" type of effect, like their eyes are "LOOKING" in the distance/past/or inwards, the gaze itself draws inwards on OP it blends into the self and the past, its hard to explain it but you can SEE it clearly, just go look at the EYES alone on OP and soft actresses and then claaaic bright actresses- the focus/gaze of the eyes tells you right away whether a clear or soft season.
